Three Brothers Garden is the site of various community events such as lectures, a book discussion, cooking and canning demonstrations, and a movie night.  Here are two upcoming events:

Cooking Demonstration -- "I've Got all These Tomatoes...Now What?"

Saturday, September 8th, 11:00 a.m.

Ed Gardner, Instructor, LeCordon Bleu, Chicago

Your tomato plants have produced a bumper crop this season.  Now how do you make the most of those ripening beauties?  Chef Ed Gardner, instructor at Le Cordon Bleu Chicago, will share ideas and recipes for how to maximize the bounty of your garden or local farmer's market.

The cooking demonstration will be held in the garden, located at 4107 N. Pulaski.  We'll move indoors if the weather is poor.

Garden Lecture Series -- Composting

Saturday, September 22, 10:00 a.m.

Dolly Foster, Horticultuirst, Oak Lawn Park District

If you’ve thought about composting but are unsure of how to start, this lecture is for you!  Master Gardener Dolly Foster will explain the basics, the benefits and review the composting “dos” and “don’ts.”  Experienced composters can weigh in with their own tips and experiences.

The cooking demonstration and lecture will be held in the garden, located at 4107 N. Pulaski.  We'll move indoors if the weather is poor.
